@Hubald-Alberti There is no direct changelog, but the best way for now is looking at github. For pimatic self (commits): https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic/commits/master
same for plugins: https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic-mobile-frontend/commits/master
@sweebee Thanks!
Looks like you have to be tweaker to get this! (no problem for me, but it gives room for improvement!)
At the moment there’s no changelog available. regarding to @sweetpi it won’t happen as long as we are in beta state.
@sweebee gave the correct hint for taking a closer look at changes at the moment.
sorry to have no better answer.

@leader21 That’s no problem, it’s just a matter of expectations

In my opinion a changelog should be part of a software in beta state too. And it isn’t that much overhead to add the main commit messages/improvements/bugfixes to the changelog too. Smaller changes that won’t affect anything don’t need to be mentioned but it should be referred to resolved bugs, reported by the community.
But that’s just my point of view.
isn’t there some kind of automatism / program that collects the commitments automatically from git and creates a simple text log?

I don’t know, but this program won’t be able to decide whats important and not.
I usually copy relevant commit messages directly into the changelog. It’s an “automatism” by my self and part of my development procedure.

Github provides an API to access the commit history , alternatively, a git client API can be used to access the history. There are already tools like conventional-changelog which may be useful to render a change log from the commit history. Most likely this will not produce good results out-of-the-box, but requires some conventions to be followed on commit log-messages to get good results.
Personally, I like to maintain a Release Log on my projects using the “Release Tag” feature of Github, but this manual house-keeping really. For example, see https://github.com/mwittig/pimatic-probe/releases
