That’s why I love IT, because of its non-deterministic behaviour. I could finally install Pimatic.
Background: My Raspberry could not reach github. Interestingly it could reach all other tested domains.
Solution: I removed the static IP address for that raspberry. Once it received dynamically an IP address, i could reach github.
Root cause: I have no clue. Whether because of that specific static IP address in my network some other system didn’t like or just because of the usage of DHCP… I don’t know.

Could be that with the static IP you used your router as the DNS server and via DHCP your router my provide alternative/fallback DNS servers which then could resolve the github domain. If I use statich IP I use my router as DNS and ad 8.8.8.8 as a fallback (google dns)
