Did you try using ‘HomeduinoRFPir’? It should work, however, autoreset is ‘true’ by default. So you may need to set it to ‘false’.

Its wired, not RF. Thats why iam asking. I need it for wired contacts at the gpios
maybe someone could tell me what to fix and i try it myself. Thanks
try that (but change to your gpio)
{
"id": "contact-sensor",
"class": "GpioContact",
"name": "contact detector",
"gpio": 18
}

oh sorry! overlooked that!
here’s the homeduino part, hope it helps now
{
"id": "homeduino-contact-sensor",
"name": "ContactSensor",
"class": "HomeduinoContactSensor",
"pin": 9,
"interval": 1000,
"inverted": true
}

actually i use this, but this shows opened and closed, but y question was if anyone could add a presence contact. so that it shows a dot instead of opened closed.
sorry again ^^
well what about a workaround with a dummy presence sensor?
{
"id": "contact-presence",
"class": "DummyPresenceSensor",
"name": "Backdoor opened",
"autoReset": false
},
then with a rule like IF contact-sensor is opened THEN set presence of contact-presence to absent
or similar expression.
i’m using this workaround with a dummy presence device for to signalize my energy overflow from my photovolatics

thats what iam also thought about, but with 13 contacts i have 26 rules more.
… well, then a @Developer needs to adapt homeduino with the missing device i guess

You can use pimatic-gpio. It provides a presence sensor.

Oh nice! Thanks for that, when update is available i will test it and report!
Thanks in advance
@mwittig i have tested it, but i have found a little problem. The Dot is always uncoloured, that means when it is present the dot is not filled with colour.
Sry wrong alarm, all work fine, dont know what this was. Thanks @mwittig
@p4co86 fyi: Release 0.8.65 contains the new feature
