mwittig is right. The temp sensors makes some trouble when you block GW internet access. The temp went 100°C for a while or the humidity and pressure goes to 0%. The problem occurs 4-5 times per day
Since yesterday I moved to sweebees Aqara plugin. He filters the incorrect value. With the plugin it seems to be okay to block the access.

Added the Chinese connection to the downsides. And yes my plugin checks for valid sensor outputs like the temp and humidity.

Hi,
a tip for your zigbee topic.
My pimatic work with the raspbee-bridge-system of Dresden-Elektronik over the hue- plugin.Here is a overview of my devices in the “deCONZ” webinterface.
and here in pimatic.
The hue- plugin make the remoutecontrol and dimmer to light groups.
I have this hardware
from Amazon: raspbee 35 €
from Ikea: Remoute Control set with Bulb 25 € / Dimmer 10 €
from Amazon: innrA 15 €
from Philips: no friends of Hue (works only without remoute) 75- 85 €MfG.

What about these dirt cheap ZigBee dongles offered for 10 Euros on ALI?
These dongles are mainly based on the TI CC2531 module and it would be nice to have a working solution for that. It seem some guys in the Openhab community made some progress here. There is a Java driver which appears to rule them all - https://github.com/zsmartsystems/com.zsmartsystems.zigbee. Well, apparently that’s just the client part which implements the serial driver communication. The tricky bit perhaps is to flash these dongles with the right firmware which is said to be available on the TI web site. Does anybody have experience with this?

Added some more devices and added info about the pimatic-raspbee plugin.
@mwittig I think raspbee is the way to go now.

hello is it posible to instal the raspbee on the same pi as where pimatic is install because piratic is not starting because the web server from the cons is already running it is getting a conflict

Yes, it is possible, but you need to change the port assignment either for the deconz service or for pimatic.

@justice
change the init script:/etc/systemd/system/deconz.service
you can add start parameters:
ExecStart=/usr/bin/deCONZ -platform minimal --http-port=3535 --upnp=0
as suggested by mwittig change the http port.
i also disabled upnp to prevent conflict with other SSDP service. (upnp=0)
platform minimal is for headless mode. -
Thanks it’s working nou and after all logic step to do

Great. Just a side note: If you update deconz via the web UI the service script may be overwritten and as a result deconz will be no longer operational. In this case you need to apply the changes to the service script gain and restart deconz

Hi! how high is the cpu load with the raspbee module and some (20?) connected devices?
-
I have a ConBee module in use.
- 4 window contacts (aqara)
- 4 temp/hum sensors (aqara)
- 4 buttons (aqara)
- 2 bulbs (Tradfri)
Cpu load is always < 5% (Pi 3)
Also good to know:
I have five heating termostats (eq-3 MAX!) in use with tons of rules that are triggered every minute.So one could say, there is no significant cpu load created by the raspbee plugin.
-
@saxnpaule
5%, great!
which RPi do you have in use?thx for the fast reply

I have a Raspberry Pi 2 and around 45 devices connected to deconz. Lights, sensors and switches
CPU is also lower than 5% by default
-
Hi,
my old raspbee pi was a piB+ with deConz( + Desktop over VNC), a small Pimatic(MQTT) and Lirc in the living room. CPU load 6%. Now work i with my old pi3 with the self sdcard an have 2% CPU load. I have 3 bulbs, 1 dimmer and 1 switch in use.Pimatic, my hobby.

Hi! Whats the trick with the raspbee and hap plugin? or its just not supported?
its strange cause there is the option to exclude but bulbs don’t show up in HomeKit -
maybe hap can’t handle the presence indicator of the bulb. does anybody know how disable this?
-
only solution to get bulbs in HomeKit is to use the hue.zll plugin with deconz getaway or use group devices with the respbee plugin
