NodeMCU is useless then you can use direct ESP01 or ESP12E/F if you need a well antenna then ESP07. NodeMCU is only an extension board to make it simpler for developing.

Otherway the current of ESP is much too high, with stby too. If you want a big long battery life then the ESP is only a status transmitter via ATtiny or Adruino Nano Pro etc… I will post in the next days a small project of my PIR. Its total easy to create and works well.

Jedenfalls ist die Stromaufnahme des ESP viel zu hoch, auch im stby. Wenn man den ESP nutzen möchte mit langer Batterie-Laufzeit, dann sollte man diesen per ATTiny oder Adrduino Nano Pro steuern. In den nächsten Tagen kann ich ja mal mein PIR hier beschreiben. Das Ding ist so einfach zusammen zustecken und kostet wirklich kaum Strom, da der PIR den ESP einschaltet.
