LED Panel Clock
Not related to Pimatic, just wanted to share this with you guys.
I created a LED Panel connected to websockets. You can create a drawing on my website and it will show up in real time. It runs on a Raspberry Pi 1 with the https://www.adafruit.com/product/420 and the software is mostly NodeJS.

Excellent project! I like the idea with the drawing web app!
Inspired by the Lametric clock I also wanted to use a RGB display to build an catchy display for various events (wheather, new messages, etc). I am surpised by the excellent rendition of “white color” eventhough the display is specified as “RGB”. Does the display require some calibration to get the proper white color? Did you buy the original Adafruit make or one of the clones?

I’m not 100% sure, but I think it’s RGBW. I bought the Adafruit version here: https://www.kiwi-electronics.nl/16x32-rgb-led-matrix-paneel
I did see the LaMetric clock, almost bought it on Kickstarter haha. But doing it yourself definitely gives more possibilities. It’s easier than expected, once you got all the wires right try the NodeJS lib right away, all the Python examples just confused me.
