In my garden I have 2 switches KAKU ACM1000 working fine. Now I bought a apir-2150 to switch on my 2 lamps at movement. Inside my house I configured the movement sensor and is working fine. When i put this sensor outside, 2 meter before the ACM’s, he is not acting anymore. I see no debug-rules in Pimatic log. Is the antenna of this apir-2150 that bad? Is there something I can do to improve the transmission range?

you can extend the range of the homeduino receiver with esp8266 for example and the sender/receiver hardware. you need at least 2 esp’s - one for homeduino node and one for receiver node.

The creation of the RPi with Arduino Nano and RF transmitter and receiver was already a big project for me as a noob in this work but I got it working 😀
I hope this is also realizable for me. 😅 -

@leader21 Thank you!

I have been reading the Dutch and English ESPimaticRF articles and found that it only can handle the switch protocols up to now and not the pir protocol. Is this right?

I cant find what you are saying. I think the protocol handling is done by pimatic. I did see he was talking about the black/white listing of protocols…

Your right. It’s about bw-listing.
Anyway, during compiling I had a lot of comment, in the beginning everything worked until reboot of pimatic. Then, I had a lot of errors and couldn’t switch anything anymore. I have no programming skills and never worked with these things so I stopped this project for now and go back to pimatic with Arduino what works fine. Thanks for the support!
