Pushbullet test

I am trying to test pushbullet on PiMatic. I followed the guid and made a rule, but for some reason it fails.

I figured out that it had to contain a “when” and a “then” statement, so i made these changes. However, afterwards it is still not working and still errors out.

This is my first try to get PiMatic work.

Rule:

error [pimatic]: Could not parse rule "when it is 13:05 then push message:Good morning!": Expected: "and", got " message:Good morning Dave!"

For some reason you have the wrong quotes. If you you use the rule editor to add the action parameters it will add " quotes which will be escaped automatically when written to the config file.

"rule": "when it is 13:05 then push title:\"Good morning!\" message:\"Good morning Dave!\"

i played arround a bit with the quotes, as i got a red “x” in front of the line when i used them before, didnt think of “escaping” them with \ (Which i normally do in php/html anyhow…)
Script is now accepted and im testing it again, thanks.

This is an example I use:
push title:“Absence!” message:"Everyone’s gone!"

Well, it works now, however, the error i walked into was related to the examples on the pushbullet plugin page. They niceley show an example, but didnt include the “escaping” quotes, they where just showed as

" 
while had to be 
\"

• this took me hours untill i decided to post it here.
