Hello everybody,
I’m quite new to pimatic, but seems to be a nice piece of software. I’ve installed it a very basic way and now am going expand.
What I have now:
Pimatic is running on my Raspberry Pi 2 with an Arduino (homeduino sketch) connected for 433Mhz controlling of my RF-switches.
What I want to do:
Include the sensors of my weather station, which is operating also at 433Mhz. With help of some threads in arduino forum I figured out how to read the signal and decode to temperatur, humidity, channel and everything else. Now I want to pass these 3 interesting information to pimatic. Is there an easy way of changing homeduino-sketch and adding to pimatic to include the sensors? An alternative I though about is to change one of the weather sensors included in the libraries of homeduino to decode my signals and use the buildin protocolls of pimatic.
Future plans:
In near future I plan to include some additional sensors based on arduinos with mysensors sketch. Is this possible with only one arduino connected to the rpi and equipped with 433Mhz and 2,4Ghz hardware? Or is it easier to relocate the 433Mhz hardware together with the decoding to one of the sensor nodes of my mysensors network?
I’m grateful for any kind of help.
Best regards,
Anduril
