Hey guys,
i am currently working on this project.
In short: Open-Source Project for receiving and sending infrared signals (which i will later controll with pimatic via the Open-Remote API)
I understand the schematics and already sticked the parts together. Now I am able to receive the infrared signals of my YAMAHA remote and save them to send them out later via the two leds.
My problem: I cant send signals. I checked the wiring like 100 times and don’t think that i did something wrong. I now believe i bought the wrong parts, as i wasnt able to get exact the same LEDs and the same transistor as the guy in the tutorial was using.
It would be really awesome if someone of you -who knows what he is doing- can say my LEDs and my transistor is ok for this.
Here is the datasheet for the LED used in the tutorial.
And here is the datasheet for the LED which i bought.
Here is the datasheet for the transistor used in the toturial.
And here and here are the two transistors which i bought .
These are my parts connected:
And here you can see which colors are connected to which GPIO pins of the raspberry: Red: 5V, Blue: GND, White: GND(to receiver), Yellow: GPIO22
I hope the given information are enough for you to find my mistake because i am really looking forward to integrate my TV and my AV-Receiver into pimatic.
Of course i will write a tutorial on this if im having success!
Thanks a lot
