I’d really recommend it, because you can easily take off the top and there’s enough space to put some sensors between the Pi and the top of the case.
Since the price for a 3d-printed case for the homeduino was too expensive for my taste, I went to the local home improvement store and bought a “Elektroverteilerdose” (I don’t really know if there’s an English word for that). This thing was 79ct and it fits the homeduino, the sender, the receiver and all the cables including the antenna very well. Couldn’t imagine a cheaper and simpler version for that!
